Western Philippines University is committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment by providing targeted support that enables persons with disabilities (PWDs) to access academic resources on an equal basis with others. Through the University Library, dedicated access schemes have been established to address the learning needs of students with disabilities and promote equitable participation in higher education.

A designated PWD Section within the library provides priority access to computer desktop units, ensuring that users with disabilities have convenient and uninterrupted access to digital learning resources, online references, and academic services. This dedicated space allows PWDs to complete research, coursework, and other academic requirements in a supportive and accessible environment.

To further enhance accessibility, the University Library offers a Netbook Loan Service, allowing students, including persons with disabilities, to borrow netbooks for academic use. Borrowed netbooks may be used throughout the library or taken home, giving students the flexibility to complete assignments, conduct research, and access online learning resources wherever they study. By extending access to essential technology beyond the library, the service helps remove barriers to learning and promotes equal opportunities for students with disabilities.

Through these targeted support services, WPU continues to uphold its commitment to accessibility, inclusion, and equitable access to education, ensuring that every learner has the resources needed to participate fully and succeed in their academic journey.
