The Western Philippines University conducted a General Faculty and Staff Meeting and Conference yesterday, August 5 at WPU Main Campus, Aborlan.

The conference was graced by Assistant Solicitor General (ASG) James L. Cundangan, who provided an insightful talk on the topic “Ang Bagong Serbisyong Sibil sa Bagong Pilipinas”. He reiterated the core values that WPU members should possess in order to create a conducive work environment.

Also present in this conference were representatives from LandBank who discussed new banking features that would ease the transactions of the faculty and staff.

During the afternoon session, office heads led by Pres. Amabel S. Liao, addressed various university policies, accomplishments, and concerns.

This assembly aimed to align the objectives and strategies of the university’s faculty and staff now that the new academic year has begun.
