Dr. Amabel S. Liao, the esteemed President of the University, graced the RGADC Forum with her powerful Spoken Poetry performance. The event, titled “MIMAROPA WEroes: A Celebration of Women’s Strength and Resilience,” took place on 19 March 2024 at La Breza Hotel in Quezon City. The activity follows the National Women’s Month recurring theme for 2023-2028, which is “WE for gender equality and inclusive society,” and this year’s sub-theme, which is “Lipunang Patas Sa Bagong Pilipinas: Kakayahan ng Kababaihan, Patutunayan.” Alongside Dr. Liao, other influential Women Leaders such as Dir. Ma. Vilma V. Diez from DOH MIMAROPA and Dir. Cherrylou D. Repia from DepEd MIMAROPA also shared their spoken poetry pieces.

The forum provided a platform for a selected group of women leaders in the region to engage in a heartfelt discussion about women’s strength and resilience. It was a joyous occasion filled with empowering songs and captivating spoken poetry performances.
