Western Philippines University continues to strengthen technology-driven learning through initiatives that equip students with practical skills for the future. The WPU Robotics Tech Club conducted a 3D Printer Operation Seminar, introducing participants to the fundamentals of 3D printing and its applications in design, engineering, and innovation on July 16, 2026.

The activity combined discussions with hands-on learning, allowing participants to understand how 3D printing works while developing creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Guided by resource speaker Mr. Brendon Jay Selverio, students explored how emerging technologies can transform ideas into functional prototypes and real-world solutions.

More than a technical workshop, the seminar encouraged curiosity, innovation, and lifelong learning among aspiring engineers and technology enthusiasts. By providing meaningful opportunities to engage with advanced technologies, WPU prepares students to thrive in an increasingly digital and innovation-driven world. The initiative reflects the University’s commitment to nurturing future-ready graduates equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to contribute to sustainable development and technological advancement.
