WPU complies with Republic Act No. 8187, also known as the Paternity Leave Act of 1996, which grants seven (7) days of paternity leave with full pay to eligible married male employees for the first four (4) deliveries of their legitimate spouse with whom they are cohabiting. The university upholds this policy by ensuring that qualified faculty and staff can avail themselves of this benefit, recognizing the importance of supporting employees in fulfilling their family responsibilities while maintaining their professional commitments.
