Western Philippines University is geared towards enhancing its global presence and engagement through national and international collaborations, partnerships, and initiatives. The Internationalization and External Affairs Office actively works with the University’s existing units to explore, establish, coordinate, and monitor collaborations and linkages with various local, national, and foreign partners.

Functions of the Office

The Internationalization and External Affairs Office is mandated to operationalize the following functions:

• Formulate a strategic internationalization plan that aligns with the University’s strategic development plan;
• Explore and establish linkages with local and foreign organizations, networks, and associations for prospective programs and projects;
• Assist the different units of the University in establishing and formalizing agreements with local and international partners;
• Facilitate and actively engage the different units of the University for supporting faculty, staff, and student mobilities; and
• Coordinate, monitor, and evaluate the international recognition efforts in the University.
