The DPWH-Palawan 3rd District Engineering Office-the implementing office, in partnership with Mary Jonica Construction-the contractor of project, recently held a turnover ceremony for the Infrastructure Project: Construction of Road at the WPU Back gate. The completed project, with a total cost of ₱4,814,142.67 funded from the FY 2024 GAA, was handed over to Western Philippines University.
This project involves the concreting of a road stretching from the CPAM building to the back gate, covering a distance of 324.10 linear meters. The son of the late Congressman Edward S. Hagedorn, Mr. Clint Hagedorn also graced the event with his presence. This project was initiated by the late Congressman Edward S. Hagedorn before his untimely passing. Despite the unfortunate circumstances, the project still received approval for funding.
