Western Philippines University celebrates the achievements of its representatives who garnered top recognition at the MIMAROPA Health Research and Development Consortium (MHRDC) 14th Health Research Forum, held on September 10–12, 2025, at Hue Hotel, Puerto Princesa City.

Champion in the Professional Category for Oral Presentation was Avien Ynna Hasan, while Florence Armenta (CFINS) secured the Championship in the Student Category for Oral Presentation. In the Poster Presentation, Edgar Paalan won 3rd Place in the Professional Category, and Raiza Mae Patalita (CFINS) earned 3rd Place in the Student Category.

As a valued member of MHRDC, WPU takes pride in contributing to the advancement of health research and development in the MIMAROPA region. These awards not only highlight the excellence of WPU’s researchers but also affirm the university’s commitment to innovation, collaboration, and sustainable health solutions for communities across the region.
