The College of Fisheries and Natural Sciences (CFiNS) held its Commencement Exercises last June 24, where graduates marched with pride and purpose. Guest speakers Mr. Billie P. Subang, Jr. of BFAR MIMAROPA and Lt. Cdr. Benjamin Magura, Director of the Submarine Operations Center, delivered inspiring messages drawn from their respective fields in fisheries and naval service. Mr. Subang emphasized the graduates’ role in championing sustainable resource management, while Lt. Cdr. Magura highlighted the value of discipline, courage, and service to the nation. Both speakers encouraged the graduates to navigate their careers with integrity, leadership, and a deep commitment to protecting our natural resources and maritime domains.
