A total of 361 graduates from the Western Philippines University College of Education were honored during the 2025 Commencement Exercises earlier today, marking a major milestone in their journey to becoming future educators.

The event was graced by the presence of Commencement Speaker, CHED-MIMAROPA Regional Director Edna Imelda Fernandez-Legazpi, who underscored the vital role of educators in transforming the lives of students and uplifting entire communities. She also announced WPU’s impressive rise to 2nd place in the MIMAROPA region in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings, improving from its status as the sole awardee of the region last year. Her message highlighted the university’s growing commitment to sustainable development and quality education.

Also in attendance was Cong. Franz Vincent F. Legazpi of Pinoy Workers Partylist, who conveyed his heartfelt support for the new graduates, as well as their hardworking parents and guardians.
