The Western Philippines University team, led by President Dr. Amabel S. Liao, participated in the pre-plenary hearing conducted by the House Committee on Appropriations earlier today, September 17 at Nograles Hall, Batasang Pambansa Complex, Quezon City.

This was in preparation for the plenary budget deliberation to be conducted tomorrow at the Plenary Session Hall of Batasang Pambansa. The session will provide an opportunity for SUC representatives to present detailed financial overviews, major thrusts, and key projects for the Fiscal Year 2025.

The outcomes of these sessions will play a pivotal role in determining the educational landscape and enhancing the capabilities of the State Universities and Colleges for the year ahead.
