Mr. Rodolfo “Rudy” Sabas, an independent consultant under the CHED-Canadian Bureau for International (CBIE) Education Partnerships, paid a visit to Western Philippines University. He had a meeting with Dr. Lita B. Sopsop, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Mr. Anastacio T. Cagabhion III, Internationalization and External Affairs Director; Dr. Josefina Viernes, CPAM Dean; and Atty. Joselito C. Alisuag, former WPU OIC President and CHED Regional Director, to discuss potential collaborations in the field of hospitality management. Both parties engaged in fruitful discussions.

The group also took a tour of the WPU El Nido campus, where the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management program is offered. This visit highlighted the potential for future partnerships between WPU and Canadian institutions, creating opportunities for innovation and growth in the academic field.
