Dr. Amabel S. Liao, University President together with Dr. Allaine T. Baaco, Vice President for Research Development and Extension is currently participating in the Innovation and Technology Summit Support Office (ITSO) Presidents’ Summit with the theme, “ITSO: Celebrating Collaboration, Cultivating Innovation”, held at the Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati City. This event will provide updates on the ITSO program’s progress, as well as the launch of the Generator of IP (GeneIP) project. This initiative will empower member Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to generate more innovative and impactful outcomes from their research and development endeavors.

Additionally, the ceremonial signing of the ITSO Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and GeneIP Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for new members is scheduled to take place during the event.
Notable figures present at the summit include Atty. Rowel S. Barba, Director General of IPOPHIL; Dr. Napoleon K. Juanillo Jr., Assistant Secretary for Technology Transfer, Communication, and Commercialization (TTCC) at DOST, who will deliver a Keynote Message; and Dr. Tirso Ronquillo, President of the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC), who will express his message of support.
